Applicants must:
- Be Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents.
- Be accepted into the Master of Mathematics for Teachers (MMT) program in the Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing (CEMC).
- Teach mathematics at a school in Canada.
- Demonstrate a strong connection to an Indigenous community in Canada.
- Show the ability to positively impact Indigenous students in Canada.
- Apply for both admission to the MMT program and the scholarship by June 15.
- Preference is given to Indigenous candidates, including First Nations (Status/Non-Status), Métis, and Inuit applicants.
Value of Master of Mathematics for Teachers (MMT) Indigenous Scholarship:
Up to three scholarships are awarded annually, each valued at up to CAD $15,000, covering tuition and incidental fees.
