Introduction:

The Marion Smith Memorial Award was established in loving memory of Marion Smith, a dedicated nurse and educator whose career in nursing spanned more than four decades. A graduate of the PEI School of Nursing, Marion devoted her professional life to providing compassionate care to patients and later shared her knowledge and experience by teaching future generations of nursing students.

Eligibility requirement for Marion Smith Memorial Award at Holland College:

Be enrolled in the Practical Nursing program.
Be in their first or second year of study.
Demonstrate financial need.
Show an interest in mental health and mental wellness in nursing through a submitted essay or biography.
