Marina MacDonald Memorial Bursary
The Marina MacDonald Memorial Bursary was established at the University of Prince Edward Island in 1993 by her husband, G. Dunstan MacDonald. Marina and Dunstan had five sons: Leo (PEI), Paul (Toronto), Cameron (Vancouver), Andrew (Halifax), and Colin (PEI).
Eligibility criteria for the Marina MacDonald Memorial Bursary:
- Applicants must be returning Nursing students at the University of Prince Edward Island.
- Applicants must be in their third year.
- Applicants must demonstrate outstanding bedside manner.
- Applicants must demonstrate broad knowledge and skill in clinical practice during Nursing 310 (Integrated Clinical Experience).
