Marie Sklodowska-Curie PhD In Organic Chemistry, 2017

The Cardiff University is offering Ph.D. studentships to UK, EU, and international applicants in organic chemistry at the school of chemistry.
The title of the project is Synthesis and self-assembly of supramolecular antenna systems for photochemical transformations.

Eligibility

• The candidates applying for Marie Sklodowska-Curie Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, 2017 should have a first class honors degree or its equivalent in chemistry with organic chemistry as the specialization.
• The applicants should have MSc or its equivalent.
• The candidates with 1-year research in the organic synthesis of peptides and/or aromatic heterocycles are preferred.
• The applicants are expected to not have resided in the UK for 12 months in the past 3 years.

Value of the scholarship

• The recipients of Marie Sklodowska-Curie Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, 2017 will get a stipend of €44,895 per year and full tuition fees at UK/EU rate.
• The recipients will also get mobility allowance and family allowance (if applicable).
