The University of Manchester Alumni Bursary 2026

Eligibility Criteria for the University of Manchester Alumni Bursary:

Applicants must:

• Be a graduate of The University of Manchester or University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST).
• Be admitted to an eligible postgraduate program.
• Be personally funding the tuition fees to which the bursary will be applied.
• Complete all scholarship application requirements, including the Kira Video Assessment and scholarship presentation where applicable.
• Note that under the university's one-discount policy, applicants awarded a scholarship covering 20% or more of tuition fees will not also receive the alumni bursary.

Value of the University of Manchester Alumni Bursary:

A 20% discount on tuition fees that the student is personally funding.

Application Process:

• Submit an MBA application.
• Receive an email invitation from Kira Talent with login details.
• Complete the Kira Video Assessment within 7 days of receiving the invitation.
• Prepare and upload a scholarship presentation.
• Include their name and the scholarships they are applying for at the beginning of the presentation.
• Submit all required materials before the applicable scholarship deadline.
