Makhzoumi Graduate Scholarship in Lebanese Studies 2022

Makhzoumi Graduate Scholarship in Lebanese Studies is offered by the University of Alberta to support applicants of masters.

Eligibility

• The candidates applying for the Makhzoumi Graduate Scholarship in Lebanese Studies should have registered in a full-time masters program or a doctoral degree program. 
• The applicants can be of any department and the research of the candidate should be relevant to Lebanese Studies within the Faculty of Arts.
• The number of scholarships available is two.
• The applicants of Makhzoumi Graduate Scholarship in Lebanese Studies who are registered in masters programs are qualified to avail the awards during the first 2 years of their programs.
• The students who are registered in doctoral programs are able to hold awards during years 1-5 of their programs.
• The successful applicants of the scholarship will receive CAD 6,000.

Documents Required

• The applicants of Makhzoumi Graduate Scholarship in Lebanese Studies should submit a completed application form.
• Candidates need to include a copy of the student's graduate transcripts.
• A letter of application has to be attached which should outline the research interests in the study of Lebanon and its people. It should also include how the funds will be used to contribute to their studies.
