The purpose of the Lunelle A. Anderson Scholarship is to provide financial support to undergraduate students at Texas State University, including entering freshmen and transfer students, who demonstrate strong academic performance and involvement in leadership, community service, and/or employment.

Eligibility Criteria for Lunelle Anderson Scholarship at Texas State University 2025:

Applicants Must:

  • Be undergraduate students currently enrolled at Texas State or entering freshman or transfer students.
  • Entering freshmen must have:
    • An overall high school GPA of 3.0 or above.
    • An ACT score of 24 or an SAT score of 1000 (critical reading and math only).
  • Transfer and current Texas State students must:
    • Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
    • Be enrolled for a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester.
  • Demonstrate high academic ability through academic transcripts.
  • Demonstrate leadership, involvement, community service, and/or employment experience through a resume.
  • Preference will be given to students who are children of current Family Association members at Texas State.
