The Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) is offering Ph.D. studentships in the natural sciences. This will provide the student with a free Ph.D. degree from a UK University.
Eligibility for Natural Environment Research Council (NERC)-London NERC DTP Fully Funded Ph.D. Studentships, 2022:
- The applicants should have 2:1 or higher in a relevant degree or equivalent work experience.
- The candidates applying for Natural Environment Research Council (NERC)-London NERC DTP Fully Funded Ph.D. Studentships, 2022 should be residents of the UK.
- The applicants must have settled status in the UK i.e., they have no restrictions on how long they can stay and should be residents of the UK for 3 years before the start of the fellowship.
- The candidates should not have been residents in the UK for full-time education (does not apply to the UK and EU nationals).
- International applicants are not eligible for the studentships.
- The candidates can also be EU residents but have to meet the English language requirements for UCL.

- The candidates are required to have completed at least twelve months of education or eighteen months of work experience in a country that UCL considers to be majority English speaking.
- The applicants for London NERC DTP Fully Funded Ph.D. Studentships, 2019 should submit curriculum vitae not exceeding two pages.
- The candidates applying for Natural Environment Research Council (NERC)-London NERC DTP Fully Funded Ph.D. Studentships, 2022 should also submit English language certification if they are from an EU country other than the UK.
- Two academic references must be submitted and the email addresses of each referee should be provided.
