Applicants must:
- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident
- Have met entry requirements and be enrolling in the Doctor of Philosophy- Engineering and IT.
Selection criteria for the Lochrie Engineering Scholarship:
- Academic merit: Assessed via the personal statement and supporting documents (CV, most recent progress report, peer-reviewed publications, supervisor’s statement) to evaluate the strength of the applicant’s research.
- Financial need: This will be assessed via the personal statement and submission of the FEIT Student Financial Assessment form.
Value of the Lochrie Engineering Scholarship:
This scholarship provides a fortnightly stipend of $10,000 per year (full-time rate pro rata) for up to 3 years.
