Liverpool Excellence Scholarship for Postgraduates at University of Liverpool 2026

Eligibility Criteria for the Liverpool Excellence Scholarship for Postgraduates:

• Applicants must be international students.
• Applicants must:
  • Have a First Class or equivalent undergraduate degree.
  • Pay tuition fees for the course yourself at the international rate
  • Be joining a full or part-time postgraduate taught master’s course, including MRes, at the Liverpool campus in the academic year 2026/27.
  • Accept the offer of a place and pay your tuition fee deposit by the advertised deadlines.
• The eligible applicants include new and current international students at the University of Liverpool, including undergraduates, study abroad and exchange students, graduates of Xi’an Jiaotong Liverpool University, and international alumni of the university.
• Applicants are not eligible for this scholarship if they completed a Pre-Master’s course at the University of Liverpool International College, have tuition fees funded by a sponsor, or are enrolled in a PGCert, Professional Doctorate, MPhil, MArch, or PhD programme.

Application Process:

No application is necessary. The scholarship will be awarded to all eligible students who meet the criteria.

Value of the Liverpool Excellence Scholarship for Postgraduates:

Successful and eligible applicants will receive a tuition fee discount of £7,000.

Note: Applicants who are eligible to receive the Liverpool Excellence Scholarship for Postgraduates, won’t be eligible for the Liverpool Advancement Scholarship, the Liverpool Achievement Scholarship for India, the Liverpool Attainment Scholarship for India, or the Graduate Loyalty Scholarship - International.
