Linda L. Moore Endowed Scholarship in Communication Studies
The scholarship is named in memory of Dr. Linda Moore, former faculty in Communication Studies who believed in civil discourse and support for social justice and peaceful change.
Eligibility criteria -
- The applicant must be studying a Communication Studies major at Kent Campus.
- They must be a UG Junior or Senior with at least 1 year left to degree completion.
- They must obtain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and a major GPA of 3.25
- The applicant must demonstrate active Service involvement.
Application process -
- Students must document a record of personal participation in responding to societal needs through community involvement and/or political advocacy and demonstrate an understanding of how communication knowledge and skills can best be used to support these efforts.
Note: Preference given to a student with need.
