Volkswagen Foundation - Lichtenberg professorships in Germany, 2022

These Professorships are offered by Volkswagen Foundation to support post-doctoral applicants.

Eligibility for Volkswagen Foundation - Lichtenberg professorships in Germany, 2022:

• Highly qualified young scientists from all disciplines can apply.
• The doctorate of the candidate must not be more than four forW1 Professorships and seven years for W2 professorships.
• Applicants of, Volkswagen Foundation Professorships should have experience abroad.

Documents required:

• The applicants of the Volkswagen Foundation Professorships should submit a cover letter which should include the proposed recipient of funds.
• A copy of the project outline in English and German in a maximum of one page.
• A detailed project description should be submitted in a maximum of 12 pages which should include the details of objectives, innovation potential and the methods to be employed.
• List of publications done by the candidate shall be mentioned.
• A detailed CV of the applicant.
• The time, work plan and the recurring costs for the project should be mentioned.

Value of Volkswagen Foundation - Lichtenberg professorships in Germany, 2022:

• The successful applicants of Volkswagen Foundation - Lichtenberg professorships in Germany, 2022 will receive an initial capital of 2 Million euros.
• The University will guarantee a further 3 Million euros through fundraising.
