This scholarship is awarded to second-year Bachelor of Science students in Geology for academic ability and financial need. Tenure is for up to two years.

Eligibility Criteria for the Leo Stach Memorial Scholarship at The University of Melbourne 2026:

The applicant must hold a Bachelor of Science degree and have earned 100 credit points.
The applicant must possess at least an 80% weighted average in the topics "The Global Environment" and "Understanding Planet Earth" (or their predecessors).
The applicants must demonstrate financial need.
The applicants must continue into the Geology major in their third year.

Value of the Leo Stach Memorial Scholarship at The University of Melbourne 2026:

Payment of up to $3000. Tenure is for two years.
