Eligibility for Leeanne Bond Scholarship for Women in Engineering 2021:

  • is a female student; 
  • is a domestic student in accordance with The University’s Fee Policy;  
  • is enrolled or intends to enroll full-time in the first year of the Approved Undergraduate Engineering Program: and
  • does not hold another scholarship that the Associate Dean considers to be similar.

Selection criteria:

The scholarship will be awarded to the applicant showing the greatest merit as based on,

  • potential to succeed in the engineering profession;
  • leadership qualities;
  • any other matter that the selection committee considers to be relevant.

Preference will be given to students,

  • who are undertaking a dual program with business, economics or commerce;
  • are active in the community

The recipient of Leeanne Bond Scholarship for Women in Engineering 2021 may also be offered personal mentoring or coaching by Ms Leeanne Bond during the year (including help in identifying part-time work or vacation experience).
