Lee Kuan Yew Scholarship at Public Service Commission, Singapore 2026

In recognition of Mr. Lee Kuan Yew's services to Singapore, the Tanjong Pagar Citizens' Consultative Committee established the Lee Kuan Yew (LKY) Scholarship in 1991 using public monies. It represents Singapore's continued efforts to find extraordinary individuals who have the capacity and the will to positively influence our community. Since the program's inception, many LKY Scholarship graduates have gone on to make significant contributions in a range of fields, including academia, the public sector, business, law, consulting, healthcare, and the arts.

Eligibility for Lee Kuan Yew Scholarship:

• Students need to be citizens of Singapore.
• Students should present a track record of leadership and achievement in their fields of pursuit/professions.
• Applicants should also have the potential to excel in their fields/professions.

Value of the Award:

• An annual allowance of SGD 50,000 for private sector awardees (up to 2 years of sponsorship for a Master’s degree and up to 5 years of sponsorship for a PhD degree)
• A one-off sum of SGD 10,000 for public sector awardees, if they are concurrently sponsored by their agencies.
