Introduction:

The Law Society/Law Foundation of an Epekwitnewa'j Mi'kmaw Student Award was established by the Law Society of Prince Edward Island to support and recognize Epekwitnewa'j Mi'kmaw students pursuing post-secondary education. The award is available to Prince Edward Island Mi'kmaw students enrolled in any full-time program and aims to celebrate community involvement, cultural identity, and contributions toward the values of Canadian Reconciliation.

Eligibility requirement for Law Society/Law Foundation of an Epekwitnewaj Mikmaw Student Award at Holland College:

Be an Epekwitnewa'j Mi'kmaw.
Be enrolled in a full-time program.
Submit an essay describing:
- Their community involvement, and/or
- How they promote the values of Canadian Reconciliation.
