Eligibility for Kingsley Mortimer Memorial Prize 2022:

  • The Kingsley Mortimer Memorial Prize will be awarded annually to the full-time student who achieved the highest aggregate marks in the practical skills tests for the MBChB Part II. 
  • As a minimum standard, the student should have achieved at least 70% of the obtainable aggregate marks. 
  • In the event of a tie, the Prize will be awarded to the student with the highest overall GPA.

Value of Kingsley Mortimer Memorial Prize 2022:

  • The value of the Kingsley Mortimer Memorial Prize will be NZD 500.

The Kingsley Mortimer Memorial Prize will be awarded by the University of Auckland Council on the recommendation of the Head of the Department of Anatomy and Medical Imaging. The University of Auckland Council will not be bound to award the Prize in any year if there is no candidate of sufficient merit. The Kingsley Mortimer Memorial Prize may not be shared.
