The purpose of the bursaries is to help candidates who require additional funding to complete their electives. Please only fill out one application form as you will be automatically considered for each of the three bursaries.

Eligibility for King’s Elective Bursary:

  • The candidate must be a King's College London undergraduate studying medicine electively in 2023–2024 under home fee status.
  • The candidate's total household income should not exceed £42,875
  • The candidate and their sponsors/ parents/ or guardians must have given Student Finance England/Wales/N.Ireland/SAAS "consent to share" your financial information with King's College London. The applicant should have applied for and taken advantage of their maximum entitlement to NHS help with tuition fees and loans/grants for living costs support, where applicable.
