KNB (Kemitraan Negara Berkembang) Scholarship is a prestigious scholarship provided by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Culture of Indonesia, for international students from developing countries who desire to pursue their bachelor’s in Indonesian universities. This scholarship program offers the chance to learn and experience life in the middle of Indonesian culture. Therefore, international students will obtain both educational scholarship and a deeper cultural understanding of Indonesia.

Eligibility criteria for the KNB (Kemitraan Negara Berkembang) Scholarship:

  • Applicants have to be a citizen of a developing country.
  • Applicants need to be in good health.
  • Applicants' maximum age should be 21 years to be enrolled in a Bachelor's program, 35 years to be admitted to a Master's program, and 40 years old for doctoral applicants.
  • Applicants have to be graduated from High School.
  • Applicants need to have a good command of English and/or Indonesian.
  • Applicants need to have a recommendation from an Indonesian Embassy in your (nearest) country.
