Jungseok International Scholarship

Eligibility and Scholarship Type

The Jungseok International Scholarship is divided into four categories based on language proficiency and academic achievements:

  • A TYPE:
    • Applicants must meet the eligibility criteria for either Korean or English language scholarships (70%) and meet the English or Korean language requirements for D Type.
  • Award: 100% of Entrance & Tuition fee
    • B TYPE: Applicants must have one of the following: TOPIK level 5-6 or an IBT TOEFL score of 92 (TOEIC 820, IELTS 7).
  • Award: 70% of Entrance & Tuition fee
    • C TYPE: Applicants must meet one of the following: TOPIK level 4 or an IBT TOEFL score of 78 (TOEIC 740, IELTS 6).
  • Award: 50% of Entrance & Tuition fee
    • D TYPE: Applicants must meet one of the following: TOPIK level 3 or an IBT TOEFL score of 71 (TOEIC 700, IELTS 5.5).
  • Award: 30% of Entrance & Tuition fee
    • Additional scholarships may be granted for students who meet specific requirements such as submitting designated materials or achieving significant academic accomplishments (e.g., publishing in SCI/KCI journals).

Application Process

  • Applicants must submit proof of their language proficiency (either Korean or English) and meet the respective eligibility requirements. 

Value/Benefit

  • The Jungseok International Scholarship covers up to 100% of tuition and entrance fees, depending on the applicant’s language proficiency level.
  •  Scholarships range from 30% to 100% based on the language proficiency and academic qualifications.
  • Scholarships are renewable for up to four semesters for master's and doctoral programs, and up to eight semesters for integrated programs, provided the student maintains a GPA of 3.75 or higher.
