Josephine De Karman Fellowship 2023

The Josephine De Karman Fellowship Trust is established by the late Dr. Theodore von Karman in 1954, who is a world renowned aeronautics expert.

Eligibility

• The applicants for Josephine De Karman Fellowship, 2018 should be enrolled in a university or college in the US in any discipline.
• The candidates can be of any nationality.
• The applicants should be Ph.D. candidates who will defend their dissertation in or about June 2018 and undergraduates entering their senior year.
• The postdoctoral or masters candidates are not eligible.

Documents required

• The applicants for Josephine De Karman Fellowship, 2018 should submit academic transcripts of graduate and undergraduate studies at institutions in the US and Canada.
• The candidates should submit two recommendation letters.

Selection Criteria

• The candidates applying for Josephine De Karman Fellowship, 2018 are assessed based on their recommendation letters, publications, and completed several chapters of the dissertation.
• The undergraduate applicants are evaluated based on their grades, exceptional recommendations, and research record.

Value of the fellowship
The graduate students will get $22,000 and undergraduate students will get $14,000 for the regular academic year.
