John A. Kidwell, a professor at the University of Wisconsin Law School, is remembered through the John A. Kidwell Student Support Fund. Professor Kidwell spent more than 30 years as a faculty member at the Law School after joining in 1972. He was a specialist in intellectual property, contracts, and torts. Professor Kidwell was awarded the Emil H. Steiger Prize for excellence in teaching in 1992. The Wisconsin Law Alumni Association awarded him Teacher of the Year in 1997. One of the most cherished members of the Wisconsin Law School community was Professor Kidwell.
