Overview

The objective of the Jenny Conway Scholarship is to support and encourage students with excellent academic merit and who possess an outgoing personality to enroll to study at the University of Kent.

Eligibility for Jenny Conway Scholarship:

  • The applicant must have firmly accepted a conditional offer from Kent and Medway Medical School or received an unconditional offer.  
  • The candidate should ideally have been a first-generation college student and have attended a secondary school in Kent.

Application Process:

You must use your applicant portal to apply for this scholarship. Applying for this scholarship through your portal will only be possible once you have received an offer from the University of Kent. You must submit the following to be eligible for this scholarship: 

  • A 500-word essay. TOPIC -’' Why I am suitable for the Jenny Conway Scholarship' 
  • Documents to support financial status
  • 3 months' recent payslips from NHS employer
  • Letter from doctor/social worker/minister of religion to certify caring responsibilities or child benefit statements

Value of Jenny Conway Scholarship:

The successful applicants of the Jenny Conway Scholarship will receive an award of £46,250 fee waiver - £9,250 per annum for 5 years
