JD Scholarship for the Promotion of Social Justice at the University of Western Australia 2026

Introduction: 

The JD Scholarship for the Promotion of Social Justice is a coursework scholarship offered by the University of Western Australia (UWA). Established through donations from Bruno Fiannaca and Julie Grbavac, the scholarship supports high-achieving students in the third year of the Juris Doctor (JD) who are experiencing financial hardship and have demonstrated a strong commitment to social justice.

Eligibility requirements for the JD Scholarship for the Promotion of Social Justice at the University of Western Australia:

• Applicants must be domestic students.
• Must be experiencing financial hardship.
• Must be enrolled, or eligible to enroll, full-time, and in the Juris Doctor (JD) degree course at the University of Western Australia.

Value of the scholarship:

A full-time student will be awarded AUD 5,000.
