The Jardine Foundation is offering scholarships to students who are applying to the selected Colleges at the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge for 2017.
Eligibility
- The applicants for Jardine Scholarships, 2017 should have completed their secondary school education not more than seven years ago.
- The candidates should have the academic standard to qualify for entry to any of the preferred colleges at the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge.
- The applicants should be residents of Cambodia, mainland China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines,
- Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
- The candidates should be single and in a satisfactory health state.
Selection Criteria
- The applicants for Jardine Scholarships, 2017 are assessed based on their personal qualities and character with regard to leadership qualities.
- The candidates are also evaluated based on the achievements in sports and non-curricular activities, community involvement.
Documents required
- The applicants for Jardine Scholarships, 2017 should submit a personal statement explaining their objectives, extra-curricular activities, and a copy of the UCAS application form.
- The candidates should submit two passport-sized photos, ‘O’ and ‘A’ Level certificates, or of equivalent qualifications.
- The applicants who are attending secondary school or the equivalent the applications should be submitted by their school principal with a testimonial mentioning the academic record of the applicants, remarks that assist the Scholarship Committee in its assessment and other relevant information.
- The candidates who have graduated from their secondary school should submit their applications through the principal of the secondary school with references.
