Heriot-Watt University is offering James Watt Ph.D. Scholarship in Mathematics, 2022 to doctoral students who wish to pursue research in the field of Mathematics.
Eligibility criteria:
- Candidates applying for James Watt Ph.D. Scholarship in Mathematics, 2022 must be Ph.D. students in Mathematics (Analysis, Probability, Numerics & Computations), Computational Science, or any other equivalent field.
- Candidates applying for the postdoctoral position must be a Research Associate with a PhD. in Mathematics (Analysis, Probability, Numerics & Computations), Computational Science, or any other equivalent field.
- Applicants must be enthusiastic to learn and understand new concepts.
- A fundamental understanding in one or more of the following fields: analysis, electrochemistry/thermodynamics & physics, finite element methods (preferably with experience with Python), and probability theory must be possessed by the candidates applying for James Watt Ph.D. Scholarship in Mathematics, 2022.
- FUNDING
- Full funding for tuition fees
- A stipend of RM36,000 per annum to assist with living costs
- A consumables/professional services fund of RM5,000 per annum.
- A program of workshops and events delivered by Heriot-Watt’s Research Futures Academy.
