Jainti Dass Saggar Memorial scholarship is established in honor of an early Indian student at the University of Dundee who later used his degree to improve the quality of life for Dundee residents. He moved to the Medical School in Dundee after being born in northern India in 1898, where he completed his medical education in 1923.
