Jack Hirst Scholarship at Imperial College London 

The Jack Hirst Scholarship in Chemistry at Imperial College London provides a fully funded opportunity for outstanding Nigerian students pursuing a Master's degree in Chemistry.

Eligibility Criteria of Jack Hirst Scholarship:

  1. The applicant must be a Nigerian national currently studying or conducting research in Chemistry at a Nigerian academic institution at the time of application.
  2. The applicant must also have received an offer to study an eligible Chemistry Master’s course at Imperial College London for 2026 entry and be starting a new course, not continuing an existing one.

Application Process: The applicant must apply for an eligible Chemistry Master’s course, receive an offer for 2026 entry, and email chemres@imperial.ac.uk by 23:59 (UK time) on 21 May 2027, stating their interest in being considered for the scholarship.

Award: Full tuition fees at the Overseas rate and a stipend equivalent to the annual UKRI rate.

Note: This scholarship is not available to continuing students.
