Eligibility criteria for the Ivy A Thomson and William A Thomson Graduate Scholarship, 2026:

  • Applicants from all nationalities are eligible.
  • Applicants must be registered and working full-time on their graduate program during the tenure of the scholarship.
  • Applicants must be registered in, or admitted to, a master's or doctoral degree program at the U of A.
  • Applicants must be academically outstanding.

Value of the Ivy A Thomson and William A Thomson Graduate Scholarship, 2026:

Successful applicants of the  Ivy A Thomson and William A Thomson Graduate Scholarship, 2026 will receive scholarship value of $15,000.

 Appicaton: solely by nomination. For information on the application procedure, students can get in touch with their department. The Department (or Faculty) submits nominations to FGSR, where they are judged in a competitive fashion. The ultimate decision is made by the Graduate Scholarship Committee.
