Overview

New international students who fit the requirements are eligible for the award. Applicants must be enrolled full-time in one of the following countries: Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, or the United Arab Emirates, at an International School of Choueifat institution. 

Eligibility Criteria for the International School of Choueifat Undergraduate Merit Scholarship:

  • Applicants must be enrolled in a course at an International School of Choueifat institution in one of the following nations: the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, or the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  • Before being eligible to apply for this scholarship, candidates must be offered a place in the University of Sheffield's undergraduate or foundation degree programs, either full-time or part-time.
  • The start date of the applicant's degree or foundation program at the University of Sheffield must be set for September 2025. 
  • All undergraduate degree courses are eligible with the exceptions of Medicine (A100/A101) and Dentistry (A200).
  • Applicants must be able to pay the foreign tuition charge on their own and be self-funded for tuition fees.

Applicants should submit an online application form before the deadline, which is 1 pm (UK time) on 22 April 2025.

Value of the International School of Choueifat Undergraduate Merit Scholarship:

Successful applicants of the International School of Choueifat Undergraduate Merit Scholarship will receive a competitive award worth £10,000 towards the tuition fee for an undergraduate degree program starting in autumn 2025.
