International Regional Scholarship - Postgraduate at Lancaster University 2026

Eligibility Criteria for the International Regional Scholarship – Postgraduate:

• Applicants must be international students from Bangladesh, Egypt, Ghana, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey or Vietnam.
• Applicants must be Master's-level postgraduate taught students.
• Applicants must have a First Class or 2:1 equivalent average in their undergraduate studies, or have graduated with a First Class or 2:1 degree.
• Applicants must have accepted a conditional or unconditional offer from Lancaster University for 2026 entry
• Applicants in receipt of external funding will only be eligible for this scholarship where the external funding covers less than 50% of the tuition fee.

Application Process:

There is no separate application process for this scholarship. Eligible students will be identified automatically through their application.

Value of the International Regional Scholarship – Postgraduate:

The award will be worth £10,000 and will be awarded as a tuition fee reduction.

Note: 

• Applicants who meet the eligibility for the Alumni Loyalty Scholarship, can combine it with this International Regional Scholarship – Postgraduate however, it cannot be combined with any other scholarships awarded by Lancaster University.
• If an applicant is eligible for both the Postgraduate International Regional Scholarship and a scholarship and/or tuition fee discount from any of our international teaching partnerships, only the award of the highest value will be made.
