NIE PhD scholarship at National Institute of Education (NIE), Singapore 2024

International Ph.D. Position in Singapore is provided by the National Institute of Education located in Singapore to students who have enrolled themselves for a Ph.D. level program at the Institute.

The eligibility criteria for the International PhD Position in Singapore is

• You are a local or foreign student seeking admission as a full-time candidate to the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) programme at NIE.
• You have a Bachelor's degree with honors at least at Second Class Upper level, a Master's degree in the appropriate disciplines, and the capacity to do research in your suggested subject of further study.
• You must not be on a paid job, accept paid employment, or hold any other scholarship, fellowship, bursary, or top-up allowance simultaneously during the specified time of the award.

The value of International PhD Position in Singapore is

All successful applicants for International PhD Positions in Singapore will receive the following from the National Institute of Education:

• up to $3,500 per month stipend
• Annual tuition fee and Employer CPF contribution (only for domestic students)
• This scholarship can be increased up to 4 years based on the criteria set by the scholarship board.
• Scholars who complete the Ph.D. Qualifying Examination/Confirmation may be eligible for an extra stipend of up to $500 per month.
