International Onshore Merit Scholarship at University of Queensland 2025

The scholarship aims to recognize and reward academic excellence among international students who have completed prior studies in Australia and are commencing an eligible program at The University of Queensland (UQ) in 2026.

Eligibility criteria for the International Onshore Merit Scholarship at University of Queensland 2025:

Applicants must:

• Be international students.
• Have previously undertaken a qualification in Australia that is used for admission into their chosen UQ program.
• Have achieved a competitive academic score as determined by UQ among applicants commencing in the same semester.
• Have applied to study full-time at UQ in 2026 in an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program.
• Have an unconditional offer, or have met the conditions of a conditional offer.
• Meet all program entry requirements, including English language proficiency.

Applicants must not:

• Have received any other UQ scholarship, tuition fee reduction, or rebate.
• Have a full scholarship or full sponsorship from another organization (partial funding may still be considered).

Value of International Onshore Merit Scholarship at University of Queensland 2025:

• $10,000 tuition fee reduction
• Applied to the first 2 semesters of study.

Application Process:

• No separate application is required.
  
• When you apply for an eligible program at UQ, you are automatically considered for this scholarship if you meet all eligibility criteria.
