Overview

To encourage family members of its current international and former international graduates to continue their education at Newcastle University, the university is offering the International Family Discounts (IFD).

Eligibility Criteria for the International Family Discount:

  • Applicants must identify as international students for fee-paying purposes.
  • Applicants must secure an offer of admission in an undergraduate program at the university.
  • Applicants must carry out their studies at the Newcastle city campus.
  • Applicants must be commencing their studies in the academic year 2025-26.
  • Applicants must be close relatives of students who previously studied or are currently enrolled in the University.
  • Applicants' relatives must be one of the following:
    • husband, wife, brother, sister, son, daughter, father or mother.

Application Process:

All eligible candidates must fill out the online application for the International Family Discount in compliance with the IFD guidelines.

Value of the Award:

Successful applicants of the International Family Discount will receive 10% of the tuition fee per year from the university.

NB: If two family members plan to start their studies in any school year or are already studying at the University, one of them can apply for the International Family Discount.
