International Excellence Scholarships at University of Leeds 2026

Eligibility Criteria for International Excellence Scholarships at University of Leeds 2026:

Applicants must:

• Be classified as an international student for fee purposes.
• Have a conditional or unconditional offer for an eligible taught Masters course starting in September 2026.
• Be self-funded or partially funded.
• Demonstrate excellent academic achievement, predicted or achieved at minimum a Bachelor’s degree with 2:1 (Hons) or equivalent.
• Show excellent professional and personal skills, evidenced through work experience and/or extracurricular activities.

Excluded courses:

• MBA programmes (covered by the MBA Excellence Scholarship).
• All fully online courses.

Value of International Excellence Scholarships at University of Leeds 2026:

• £3,000, £6,000, or £16,000 tuition fee reduction.
• 500 scholarships available.
• Paid as a fee reduction for the first year only.

Application Process:

• Students can apply only after receiving a conditional or unconditional offer for a Masters course.
• Separate application required for each course if multiple offers are received.
• Complete an online application form.
• Include:
  • University of Leeds student ID
  • University of Leeds application ID
  • 100-word personal statement (600 characters including spaces) explaining why you chose Leeds and why you deserve the scholarship.
