International Entrance & Performance Award (IEPA)

The International Entrance & Performance Award (IEPA) provides financial support to eligible new international students who are enrolled in 12 or more credits per semester at the university.

Eligibility criteria of the International Entrance & Performance Award (IEPA):

• The applicant must be an international student.
• The applicant must be enrolled in 12 or more credits per semester at the university.
• The applicant must be admitted for Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 at the university.
• The applicant must be a CapU credential-seeking student (non-short-term visiting student).
• The applicant must have an admission GPA of 2.50 or higher in required courses as determined by CapU’s admission assessment.
• The applicant must maintain a 3.50 term GPA and remain enrolled in 12 or more credits to continue to receive the award.
• Applicants with an admission GPA below 2.50 may still qualify for the performance portion if they meet the continuing eligibility requirements.

Application process for the International Entrance & Performance Award (IEPA):

• The applicants must complete the application to CapU by the given deadline.
• The award is automatically applied once course registration is confirmed, and tuition fees are adjusted accordingly.
• Eligible applicants will automatically receive the award once course registration is confirmed.
• Applicants who lose their eligibility may re-qualify by earning a 3.50 GPA in a future semester.

Award: Up to CAD 18,000 total for a four-year degree program.
