International Emergency Bursary for the 2026-2027 academic year

The International Emergency Bursary for the 2026-2027 academic year provides financial support to full-time undergraduate or graduate international students who are transferring to Canada due to war or environmental catastrophe.

Eligibility criteria of the International Emergency Bursary for the 2026-2027 academic year:

• The applicant must be a full-time student at the university.
• The applicant must be an international student entering or transferring to an undergraduate program or graduate program. 
• The applicant must provide proof of citizenship.
• The applicant must be paying international fees.
• The applicant must be registered in a minimum 80% course load per semester.

Appliaction process for the International Emergency Bursary for the 2026-2027 academic year:

• Applicants must apply for the scholarship through the university's website before the deadline.
• To renew the scholarship, applicants must have a minimum CGPA of 2.0, be registered in a minimum 80% course load in the previous fall and winter semesters, and must be paying international fees.

Award: CAD 20,000 per year
