International Ambassador Scholarship at Emporia State University 2027:

The International Ambassador Scholarship at Emporia State University is designed to recognize outstanding student leaders. As an International Ambassador, recipients serve as leaders within the ESU community, represent their home countries, support new international students, and assist the Office of International Education (OIE).

Eligibility Criteria for the International Ambassador Scholarship at Emporia State University 2027:

• Applicant must be a self-funded, full-time, degree-seeking student.
• Applicant must have earned at least 12 credit hours at ESU.
• Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Applicant must be able to support student orientation activities and attend required training sessions.
• Applicant must demonstrate previous leadership experience.

Application Process for the International Ambassador Scholarship at Emporia State University 2027:

• Submit the completed application form.
• Provide an unofficial transcript.
• Include three references and submit all materials to the Office of International Education.

Value of the Scholarship:

• USD 400 per semester is awarded and applied to the recipient's student account.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Applicants are expected to actively represent Emporia State University during New Student Orientation, engage with new international students, and assist with selected OIE events throughout the semester.

• Applicant must attend two orientation training sessions as scheduled by the Office of International Education. Each training session may last approximately 4–8 hours.
• Applicant must lead a group of international students during International Orientation.
• Applicant must assist with OIE-hosted events for approximately 20 hours per semester, including logistical event planning, marketing, outreach, event setup, and event teardown.
