Inspector Scott Lundrigan Memorial Award of Excellence at Holland College 2026

Introduction: 

The Inspector Scott Lundrigan Memorial Award of Excellence was created in memory of Inspector Scott Lundrigan, a learning manager at the Atlantic Police Academy who passed away on October 1, 2022 following a short illness with cancer. His family established the award to recognize his legacy and support students at the Atlantic Police Academy. It recognizes graduating cadets who embody the leadership, professionalism and ability to make snap decisions that Inspector Lundrigan displayed throughout his career.

Eligibility requirements for the Inspector Scott Lundrigan Memorial Award of Excellence at Holland College:

• Must be graduating from the Police Science (Cadet) program's Fall cohort during the current academic year.
• Must demonstrate strong leadership skills.
• Must exhibit professionalism and the ability to think quickly in demanding situations.

Value of the scholarship:

A CAD 500 is available to support a full-time student.

Application Process:

• Ensure eligibility as a graduating student in the Fall cohort of the Police Science (Cadet) program.
• Demonstrate the qualities of leadership, professionalism, and effective decision-making under pressure.
• Meet all award requirements before the 25 January 2027 deadline.
