Overview

The INPEX Scholarships are offered by the INPEX Scholarship Foundation which is a non-profit organization in Japan. The scholarship is awarded to a few Japanese nationals who would like to study and research in Indonesia, UAE, or Australia.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The candidates should be Japanese nationals.
  • The applicants should not be more than 35 years of age at the application time.
  • The candidates must have completed an undergraduate degree from a prestigious university in Japan.
  • The applicant must be planning to study and conduct research in natural/cultural/social science in Indonesia, Australia, or UAE.

Application Process:

  • Interested candidates must submit the online application form.
  • There are two rounds to the selection process.
    • Primary selection by the screening committee of the foundation.
    • Final Selection to be made by the Board of Directors.

Value of the scholarship:

  • The selected candidates are awarded the following benefits:
    • JPY 150,000 monthly.
    • Air ticket Japan-Indonesia (or Australia, or UAE), economy class, one-time only.
  • The duration of the award is for a maximum of two years.
