INPEX Scholarships 2023

The INPEX Scholarships are offered by the INPEX Scholarship Foundation which is a non-profit organization in Japan.

Eligibility

• The candidates applying for INPEX Scholarships should be Indonesian nationals.
• The applicants should not be more than 30 years of age at the application time
• The candidates should have an “SARJANA” degree in natural science from a prestigious university in Indonesia.
• The candidates should have at least 16 years of school education or equivalent academic background.
• The applicants should be permitted or are expected to be permitted to study natural science in masters at the university.
• The candidates should have CGPA of 3.0 or above and should be in good health.
• The applicants should be permitted to get the scholarship by their universities or institutions or companies.
• The candidates should not have received similar scholarships in Japan and other countries.

Documents required

• The applicants for INPEX Scholarships should submit a curriculum vitae, a recommendation letter, graduation certificate, and academic transcripts.
• The candidates should also submit 2 photographs, 5cm x 3.5cm, TOEFL/IELTS certificate, and Japanese language proficiency certificate.
• The applicants should also submit a return envelope with their name and address on the front, admission certificate from the university or institution in Japan, (if obtained), and a health certificate.

Selection Criteria

• The candidates applying for INPEX Scholarships are assessed based on their application, study plan, and school records.
• The applicants are also evaluated based on their recommendation letters, and English proficiency test score.

Value of the scholarship
The recipients get Yen 60,000 on their arrival at Tokyo.
