Overview

The Foundation is offering the Inlaks Theatre Awards for Indian theatre professionals to improve their skills. They can apply for training, workshops, or other activities for up to a year. However, this award won't pay for a full-time theatre course.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants should be recent graduates / post-graduates from a leading Indian institute for theatre in India.
  • Applicants not having a formal degree but possessing a high-quality record of past achievements may be considered in exceptional circumstances.
  • Applicants should not hold a similar / government scholarship or award during the tenure of the Inlaks Theatre Award.
  • Applicants born on or after 1st January 1991 are eligible to apply.
  • Applicants must be Indian passport holders, currently resident in India.

Application Process:

  • Eligible candidates must complete and submit the online application form and email it to the foundation.
  • The candidates must send a letter from the mentor/institution under whom the applicant proposes to undergo the skill enhancement program.
  • The application should include the following components:
    • Letter of acceptance from the Guru/ Guide /institution/collaborator with whom the students intend to work.
    • Proof of Age and Residence – in a PDF format ONLY.

Value of the Award:

  • The Foundation will furnish a stipend of Rs. 15,000 per month throughout the program, with a maximum duration of one year.

Collateral includes either: Immovable property – a house or a flat or land (or) liquid security – an FD, or LIC or shares or bonds.
