Information Technology Indigenous Study Support Scholarship

Monash University is looking to reward an Indigenous Australian who is interested in studying an IT degree at the undergraduate or postgraduate (coursework) level.

Eligibility Criteria for the Information Technology Indigenous Study Support Scholarship at Monash University 2025:

Applicants must:

• Be an Australian citizen.
• Be of Indigenous Australian background (Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander).
• Be a commencing or continuing student (undergraduate or postgraduate coursework) at a Monash campus in Australia.
• Be enrolled in the Faculty of Information Technology or intending to enrol in an IT degree.
• Provide confirmation of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage.

Value of Information Technology Indigenous Study Support Scholarship at Monash University 2025:

• Up to AUD $15,000 total
• $3000 per year (48 credit points of study) until the minimum points for your degree are completed.

Application Process:

• VTAC applicants: Apply for SEAS (Special Entry Access Scheme) to be automatically considered for equity scholarships.
• Current Monash students: Apply directly through the Monash scholarship application process.
• Provide required documents, including confirmation of heritage and evidence for disadvantage if applicable.
• Applications are considered during the annual scholarship rounds prior to semester commencement.
