The Institute for Humane Studies, George Mason University of US is offering fellowships to graduate students in Ph.D. programs. The fellowship supports research in the fields of the humanities and social sciences.
Eligibility for the Humane Studies Fellowship:
- Applicants for the Humane Studies Fellowship should be enrolled in a Ph.D. program for the coming year.
- Candidates applying for the Humane Studies Fellowship are expected to have attended an IHS program or event.
Documents required:
- Curriculum vitae.
- Transcripts from their current or most recent institution.
- A writing sample not exceeding 3,000 words or a part of the sample if the exceeds 3000 words.
- Answers to the essay questions in not more than 500 words - how their research project advances liberty and description of their research project.
- Those who have defended their dissertation proposal should submit the proposal.
- Two recommendation letters and names of the references must be submitted.
