- The Hue University is offering postgraduate scholarships to Laos students. The scholarships are offered in the areas of environment, agroforestry, medicine, foreign languages, sciences, education, and economics. The scholarships are offered to pursue master degree programs at the Hue University's affiliate colleges.
- The Hue University Postgraduate Scholarships, 2016 are three types
- Full scholarships, Partial scholarships, and Study assist.
- The candidates applying for Hue University Postgraduate Scholarships, 2016 should be Laos nationals.
- The applicants should have a bachelor's degree in relevant fields.
- The candidates with good Vietnamese abilities are considered to be advantageous.
- The applicants who graduated from or took courses at a Vietnamese university or highly preferred.
- The recipients of Hue University Postgraduate Scholarships, 2016 get full scholarships, partial scholarships, or study assist.
- The full scholarships provide tuition fees of VND 16,000,000 per year, VND 18,000,000 per year towards living expenses, VND 8,000,000 per year for accommodation, VND 1,000,000 per year for travel costs, health insurance of VND 150,000 per year, VND 3,500,000, VND 2,500,000, and VND 1,000,000 towards Thesis supervision, Thesis defense, and other expenses respectively ( a total of VND 94,300,000 for 2 years).
- The partial scholarships provide full tuition fees of VND 16,000,000 per year and VND 8,000,000 towards accommodation ( a total of VND 48,000,000 for 2 years).
- The study assist covers VND 8,250,000 per year towards tuition fees for students majored in Social Sciences and towards tuition fees VND 9,750,000 per academic VND 9,750,000/academic year and VND 100.000/month towards accommodation (a total of VND 10,000,000 and 11,750,000 for 2 years).
- The College of Education will offer study assist to 6 Laos candidates 3 from Savannakhet College and 3 from Pakse College.
- The accommodation will be given at the Dormitory of Hue University. The candidates who do not wish to live there should cover the expense by themselves.
- The scholarships for the second year are subjected to the applicant's previous year academic performance.
- College of Medicine and Pharmacy's 10 partial scholarships do not include accommodation.
