Eligibility for the Hospitality Transfer Scholarship:

Applicants must:

  • Be new undergraduate transfer students entering Spring 2026 only.
  • Have been accepted into FIU in one of the following Hospitality Management majors:
    • Beverage Management
    • Cruise Line Management
    • Event & Entertainment Management
    • Global Sustainable Tourism
    • Hospitality Leadership
    • Hospitality Management (general)
    • Hotel/Lodging Management
    • Restaurant/Culinary Management
    • Travel & Tourism Management
  • Hold an A.S. or A.A. degree or have completed at least 60 transferable college credits.
  • Have a minimum 2.75 GPA (as calculated by FIU Admissions).
  • Be a first-time transfer student to FIU.
  • Enter FIU in Spring 2026 only (awards cannot be deferred).
  • Be enrolled full-time (minimum 12 credit hours per semester for the first two awarding semesters).
  • Have an aid-eligible immigration/residency status in accordance with financial aid laws.
  • International students are eligible.
