HOPES Scholarships 2023

EU 'Madad' Fund in partnership with UNHCR’s Albert Einstein German Academic Refugee Initiative (DAFI) is offering HOPES Scholarships, 2022 to refugees from Syria in Jordan.

Eligibility criteria:

• Applicants of HOPES Scholarships, 2022 must be refugees from Syria.
• The age of the applicants must be less than 32 years.
• Candidates applying for HOPES Scholarships, 2022 should have a valid refugee permit issued by UNHCR.
• Students must have completed a bachelor's degree with a good average from a recognized university.
• Candidates will be eligible if they have no other means of financial support to obtain the master's degree.
• Students must not be in receipt of any other scholarships.
• Candidates who would like to study at GJU should have a tentative acceptance letter from the University.
• Students who are already enrolled in the aster's degree program at Jordanian universities can also apply.
• Women are encouraged to apply.
• MBA in German Jordanian University is not applicable for the scholarship.

Documents required:

• A proof of registration in UNHCR or valid copy of UNHCR Asylum seeker certificate 
• Copies of certificates and transcripts of high school diploma, Bachelor degree
• Original copy of the master's degree acceptance letter (only to those who wish to study at GJU)
• Registration at University and transcripts (if available)
