The Helen Thurwell Scholarship at the University of Northern British Columbia supports female undergraduate students from Northern British Columbia who demonstrate academic excellence and involvement in their school or community.

Eligibility Criteria for the Helen Thurwell Scholarship at the University of Northern British Columbia 2026:

• Applicants must be full-time female undergraduate students.
• Applicants must be residents of Northern British Columbia.
• Applicants must demonstrate school or community involvement.
• Applicants must demonstrate academic excellence.
• The scholarship is renewable for three consecutive years, provided the recipient maintains satisfactory academic standing.

Application Process for the Helen Thurwell Scholarship at the University of Northern British Columbia 2026:

• Apply online through the UNBC Awards and Financial Aid Office.
• Applicants must provide evidence of school or community involvement.
• Evidence may include up to two reference letters submitted to the Awards Office.

Value:  Up to CAD 25,000 total (CAD 6,250 per year for 4 years).
