Helen Mau Scholarship in Dietetics

The Helen Mau Scholarship in Dietetics supports continuing SFSU students in Dietetics and Nutrition at San Francisco State University.

Eligibility criteria for the Helen Mau Scholarship in Dietetics:

• Applicants must be continuing/currently enrolled SFSU students.
• Applicants must be enrolled in either Dietetics or Family and Consumer Sciences with a Nutrition emphasis.
• Applicants may be undergraduate sophomores, juniors, or seniors.
• Graduate applicants may be Master's students or Dietetics second-degree bachelor's students.
• Undergraduate applicants must be enrolled in at least 6 units.
• Graduate applicants must be enrolled in at least 4 units.
• Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0
• Applicants must demonstrate financial need through a student statement.
• Applicants must demonstrate professional goals related to nutrition and dietetics.
• Applicants must demonstrate outstanding character and community involvement.

Application process for the Helen Mau Scholarship in Dietetics:

• Applicants must submit a statement of financial need.
• Applicants must describe their community involvement, including volunteer hours, outreach, and service.
• Applicants must submit a 100-word statement describing their future goals and commitment to nutrition and dietetics, including relevant work, volunteer experience, and professional association activities.
