    Hawk Scholars Scholarship at UHCL 2027:

    The Hawk Scholars Scholarship (HSS) is a competitive scholarship awarded based on exceptional merit. The date of unconditional admission, date of scholarship application, and GPA are considered during the awarding process.

    Eligibility criteria for the Hawk Scholars Scholarship at UHCL 2027:

    • Applicant must be entering their first semester at UHCL in Spring 2027 as one of the following:
      • A resident graduate student.,
      • A non-Texas resident undergraduate or graduate student.
      • An international undergraduate or graduate student.
    • Applicant must be a new student with a minimum GPA of 3.0, as recalculated by UHCL.
    • Applicant must have a UHCL Admissions Application on file.
    • Applicant must have paid the admission application fee.
    • Applicant must have a UHCL identification number.
    • Applicants must be unconditionally admitted by the final deadline to be considered for the award.

    Application process for the Hawk Scholars Scholarship at UHCL 2027:

    • Access to E-Services will be granted after the admission application has been processed. Access to E-Services is required to apply for this scholarship.
    • Log in to E-Services and click on "Admissions".
    • Click on "Apply for UHCL Scholarships".
    • Do not enter any information at this stage.
    • Click "Search".
    • The Hawk Scholars Scholarship should appear.
    • Do not click "Apply".
    • Click "Details" to view the scholarship criteria.
    • Ensure that you meet the eligibility criteria before applying.
    • Go back and click "Apply".
    • Select 2027 as the aid year.
    • Answer all required questions.
    • Submit the application.

    Renewal criteria:

    • The Hawk Scholars Scholarship is renewable for two additional semesters. To remain eligible for renewal, students must:
      • Enrol in and successfully complete at least 6 credit hours each semester for the duration of the award.
      • Maintain academic good standing.
      • Maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.

    Award:

    • USD 2,000 is awarded for the Spring 2027 semester.
    • Recipients are eligible to pay resident tuition rates for the Spring 2027 and Summer 2027 semesters.
    • If renewed for the two additional semesters, students will receive:
      • USD 1,000 for Fall 2027.
      • USD 1,000 for Spring 2028.
    • Renewal recipients will also be eligible to continue paying resident tuition rates for Fall 2027, Spring 2028, and Summer 2028.
